5.33 State Pollution Control Board

1. Verify that if water or soil has become excessive with fertilizers, pesticides, and hazardous chemicals due to floods, landslides/erosions.

2. Monitor and record water and land pollution levels in flood situations. Report the deviation in the intensity of the pollution to the District Disaster Management Authority.

3. Provide necessary technical advice to the Government to eradicate pollution in soil and water after a disaster
