5.1 General Instructions – State level
1. As per the prescribed format, every department should appoint a state level nodal officer to the important monsoon disaster defence and response activities incorporated with state disaster management authority. And the details should be a-mailed before 25th May 2020. The appointed officer’s name, designation, contact number, their services, and the time limit to avail their service will be drafted and published on the website of SDMA.
2. The nodal officers should collect all the data from the department concerned in case of submitting the memorandum to the central government
3. The departments like land revenue, agriculture, health, irrigation, water authority, mining and geology, fisheries, and electricity should prepare a department level disaster management team immediately in order to send to SDMA before 30th June.
4. The officials in the following rank should be reported to state E.O.C in full-time duty for 8 hours shift.
a. Police (Not lower than A.C.I rank with wireless)
b. Revenue (Not lower than a Tahsildar)
c. Fire force (Not lower than a station officer)
d. Fisheries (Not lower than an assistant director)
e. Irrigation (Not lower than an assistant executive engineer)
f. KSEB (Not lower than an assistant executive engineer)
5. Every department should follow the given stations of All India Radio
a. Trivandrum MW (AM Channel):1161 kHz
b. Alappuzha MW (AM Channel): 576 kHz
c. Thrissur MW (AM Channel):630 kHz
d. Calicut MW (AM Channel):684 kHz
