1. The rate of road accidents especially tanker lorry accidents is very high in Kerala during monsoon season. The Road Safety Authority should take special care in this regard.

2. It should be better to stop tanker Lorries, especially those carrying petroleum products between 10 PM and 6 AM at respected district boundaries to provide the driver with tea/coffee to drink and a compulsory rest of 30 minutes. The cost incurred for the same should be arranged by the road safety authority.
