INCOIS websites (www.incois.gov.in) will provide the best possible ocean information and round-the-clock tracking and warning services on tsunami, storm surges, high waves.

KSDMA website (sdma.kerala.gov.in), Facebook page of Kerala Government, official Website of Kerala Chief Minister, DDMA website will provide to the public all official information relating to the warnings and precautions during any disaster at the respective times.

KSDMA has started special WhatsApp groups since 2015 for the easy communication of disaster-related suggestions. The groups are KSDMA IAS Officers, KSDMA IPS Officers, KSDMA Forces, KSDMA Media, and KSDMA PS to Ministers, KSDMA Aaptha Mithra, KSDMA Virtual Cadre, and NDMA-KSDMA. Besides these, a shared Qkopy app offers all the warnings and instructions by KSDMA. Also, Damini a lightning alert app developed by IITM-Pune and ESSO which is available in the google play store.

mKeralam application is to allow a citizen for all kinds of interactions and services with the government in a quick, seamless, and cost-effective way. The above applications should be installed on an official DEOC smartphone. These will be used by all government officials to make climate information more widely used. It is advisable to urge all district officials to do so.
