4.6 Instructions to Remove the Debris
1. Based on the Disaster Management Act 2005, Section 34 (d), District Disaster Management Authority should take an action to remove all the debris, soil sand, rocks, and the tree immediately after any disaster. No special permission is required for this action. Kindly contact the government to grant the required amount from the below-mentioned limits.
2. The local bodies that affected by any notified disasters can be allotted an amount of 25,000 per one ward in panchayaths and 50,000 per ward in municipalities/corporations from 2245-02-101-94-Flood-Other items. Tahsildar must be convinced should be certified that the disaster has occurred and that such a mixture of mud, earthenware, sand rock and trees has fallen into the public and should be removed.
3. Make the requisite changes for carrying out this task through the local authorities
4. To remove this debris, please advise the Local Self Government to use the services of the volunteers.
5. The ward-level economic limit does not apply to the removal of a mixture of waste, soil, sand, and rock from the river in the event of a disaster. Obtain a clear estimate from the Irrigation Department and submit it to the Disaster relief Commissioner if the need is found through the district Disaster Management Authority.
6. Ask the District Officer of the Sanitation Mission to issue necessary guidelines for the disposal of inorganic and organic waste separately.
