3.1.4 District NICs

1. Shall create an SMS system for DDMA including all Government Officials in the district. The system shall have various SMS groups for varying levels of administration. Alappuzha DEOC has established such a system which may be studied and replicated.

2. In order to issue specific alerts to the public, and SMS messaging system integrating the mobile numbers in the voter card database may be created. Such an alert system will enable us to send varying messages to varying geographies depending on the threats.
